Terms of Service

Revision of July 22, 2026 · service "Molnia", bot @molniavoicebot

1. General provisions

1.1. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the Molnia service and the conditions under which its features are provided.

1.2. Molnia is a software service running inside the Telegram messenger through the bot @molniavoicebot (the "Service"). The Service automatically converts audio and video material into text and produces summaries using artificial intelligence.

1.3. The people who run and administer the Service are jointly referred to as the "Administration." Any individual or legal entity using the Service is referred to as the "User."

1.4. The Terms are published so Users can review the Service's rules. They apply to use of the Service from the date of the current revision onward. The Service does not keep a separate log of when a User reviewed a particular revision of this document.

2. Definitions

2.1. Content — a voice message, audio or video file, video message, forwarded message, or other material sent by the User to the Service.

2.2. Result — a transcript, summary, or other text automatically generated by the Service from Content.

2.3. Plan — the set of available features, quantitative limits, and access conditions for the Service.

2.4. Subscription — paid access to a higher processing limit, provided on a recurring-payment basis.

2.5. Billing period — the term of paid access, as set by the payment provider. For Telegram Stars, the period is 30 days. For payment through lava.top, it's a monthly subscription, and the exact end date reaches the Service from lava.top's own data.

3. Subject of the Terms

3.1. The Administration gives the User the ability to use the Service's features within the free Plan or a paid Subscription, and the User agrees to comply with these Terms.

3.2. Access is provided within the Service's technical capabilities and set limits. Current limits, pricing, and available payment methods are shown in the bot's interface.

3.3. The Service tracks minutes used in separate 30-day periods. Unused minutes don't convert into a monetary balance and aren't separately compensated.

4. Payment and automatic renewal

4.1. The Subscription is paid in advance for one Billing period. The payment obligation is considered fulfilled once the Service receives confirmation of a successful transaction from the relevant payment provider.

4.2. Payment can be made in Telegram Stars or by bank card through lava.top, whichever method is available to the User. The currency and total amount are shown before you proceed to payment.

4.3. The Service's code never requests or stores a card number, expiration date, or security code. That information is entered on the payment provider's own page; the Service's integration only handles the email address, account and subscription identifiers, amount, currency, and transaction status.

4.4. Both available payment methods create an auto-renewing Subscription. Renewal through Telegram Stars is cancelled through Telegram itself. Renewal through lava.top is cancelled with the /status command in the bot.

4.5. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't cut off access before the end of the Billing period you've already paid for.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1. The bot has no automatic refund feature. To report a duplicate charge, a Subscription that never activated, or to request a refund, use the support channel described in Section 12.

5.2. Once your message has been successfully forwarded, any further action, if taken at all, is handled manually by an administrator. The Service doesn't guarantee that a refund will be reviewed or approved within any particular timeframe.

5.3. For Telegram Stars payments, a refund through Telegram is technically available. The Service's code has no built-in way to directly refund a lava.top payment; how such a request is handled depends on what lava.top itself supports and may require contacting the payment provider directly.

5.4. This section doesn't limit any User rights that can't be excluded under applicable mandatory rules.

6. Content and third-party rights

6.1. By sending Content, the User confirms they have the right to use it and to have it processed automatically, including cases where the Content contains the voices, images, or other information of third parties.

6.2. The User must not send Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights, breaches a confidentiality obligation, or violates any applicable restriction — nor Content containing someone else's passwords, payment details, state or trade secrets, or other sensitive information without adequate grounds.

6.3. The User permits the Administration and the technology providers it engages to temporarily process Content and Results to the extent needed to fulfill the request, keep the Service running, provide support, and prevent abuse.

6.4. Sending Content doesn't transfer ownership or exclusive rights in the Content or the Result to the Administration.

6.5. The Administration doesn't pre-screen Content and can't verify whether the User holds the rights or permissions needed to send it. Responsibility for the lawfulness of sending Content rests with the User.

7. Usage restrictions

7.1. The User must not:

7.2. If this section is violated, or in the event of signs of fraud or a security threat, the User's access may be temporarily restricted or terminated.

8. How the AI works, and its limits

8.1. The User is aware that transcription and summarization are performed by probabilistic models. The Result's accuracy, completeness, and fit with the User's expectations aren't guaranteed.

8.2. Known limitations include omissions and distortions; incorrect names, dates, and numbers; reduced quality from background noise, accents, or several people talking at once; and subjective emphasis when summarizing.

8.3. The User must independently verify anything important against the original Content before relying on the Result.

8.4. The Result is supplementary information and doesn't constitute legal, medical, financial, expert, or other professional advice.

9. Availability and limitation of liability

9.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." It depends on Telegram, payment systems, hosting, and external AI providers, so delays, temporary unavailability, and changes to features or supported formats can happen.

9.2. To the extent allowed by applicable rules, the Administration isn't liable for indirect losses, lost profit, data loss on third-party services, or the consequences of decisions made without verifying the Result.

10. Privacy

10.1. The categories of data processed, the purposes of that processing, the list of external providers, and how to submit a request are described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

11.1. The Terms may be updated as the Service's features or operation change. The date of the current revision appears at the top of the document.

11.2. A change in price or paid volume doesn't apply to a Billing period that has already started.

12. Support

12.1. To reach an administrator, send the /support command in a private chat with the bot @molniavoicebot and describe your issue in one message, or send a text message starting with the word "Support" (case-insensitive).

12.2. Your message is saved in the Service's database and becomes visible to the administrator; the bot confirms receipt once it's saved successfully. If the database is unavailable, the bot forwards the message to the administrator directly and only confirms it once that forwarding succeeds; if it fails, the bot tells the User.

12.3. An administrator may reply to your message through the bot — the reply arrives in the same private chat. There's no guaranteed response time. The number of new messages may be limited (no more than three per day).
